Hocking Hills - Ash
Cave So what's so special about the area
around our accommodations? Our historic cottages are located
right in the heart of the Hocking Hills Region and only a
short drive from Hocking Hills State Park. Hocking Hills
State Park offers outdoor adventures including 25 miles of
hiking trails, naturalist programs year-around and plenty of
sights to see. From rugged to paved, Hocking Hills State
Park features trails accessible and exciting for everyone.
Once such area is Ash Cave -It is the
largest recess cave in the State of Ohio and features a
paved hiking trail that is stroller and wheelchair
accessible, a cascading waterfall and unique rock
formations. There is an upper and lower trail at Ash
Cave, each one approximately a 1/2 mile long. The lower
trail is wheelchair accessible. It takes approximately a 1/2
hour to hike the trail. The upper section is a little
more rugged and takes 40 minutes to an hour to complete.
