Man's Cave So what's so
special about the area around our accommodations? Our
historic cottages are located right in the heart of the
Hocking Hills Region and only a short drive from Hocking
Hills State Park. Hocking Hills State Park offers outdoor
adventures including 25 miles of hiking trails, naturalist
programs year-around and plenty of sights to see. From
rugged to paved, Hocking Hills State Park features trails
accessible and exciting for everyone. Once such area is Old
Man's Cave - one of six major hiking areas in the Hocking
Hills State Park trail system.
Old Man's Cave features many waterfalls, cliff edges and
distinctive bridges. The winding trail is rugged in some
areas and there are unique rock formations at nearly every
turn.
Length: Old Man's Cave is approximately 1 mile long and
takes about an hour to hike.
