Dunkle School ~ Under preservation ~  Ready soon!

 Accommodates 2 people.

Love historic one-room school buildings?

Ever sit at a double school desk with your best friend?

Did the ‘teacher’s pet’ get to ring the school bell?

Remember ‘McGuffy’  Readers?    How about “Dick and Jane”?

Were you chosen to wash the blackboard?

Did you fall asleep in school?

Now you can do all this and more in our restored one-room  rural schoolhouse in scenic Vinton County just north of the village of McArthur, Ohio.

Several generations of students learned their “3 R’s” in this  early 20th century schoolhouse…reading, ‘riting  and ‘rithmetic .  Now you can make your own

“3 R’s …rest, relaxation and romance.

Wander down a country road…Linger awhile in an early cemetery…

Amble through a covered bridge…….all without getting into your car!
